The Quick Hitch is for couples craving a quick, no-fuss ceremony.
Think of this as a courthouse marriage… minus the courthouse. A “legal’s only” affair, all that’s required is a pair of lovers (you), two witnesses, and an Authorised Marriage Celebrant (me!) to make it official. 5 people, 10 minutes, some paperwork and the option to say personal vows. Short, sweet, and strictly legal—perfect for couples who plan to get hitched overseas, or simply want to tie the knot without all the fluff.

A first meet over video call
A simple, legal-only ceremony (10 minutes, no personalisation) with just you, your two witnesses, and me – 5 people total.

For couples who want the best of both worlds—a friend to lead the ceremony with all the warmth and familiarity, while I handle the official side of things (aka the legal bits and making it all legit).

A relaxed first chat to guide you (and your chosen friend) through how it all works.
A comprehensive ceremony ‘structure’ to gently shape your script, including a round of proofreading + edits if required.
Official celebrant duties: I’ll be there on the day to oversee, sign the paperwork, and make it all legally binding.
All legal paperwork sorted and lodged with Births, Deaths & Marriages.

Booking 6-12 months in advance is ideal, but if you’re a) super duper organised or b) running slow the planning, get in touch! I’ll do my best to accommodate you, no matter the timeline.

Absolutely! Whether you're tying the knot in Adelaide, somewhere else in Australia, or a dreamy destination overseas, I’m there. For weddings beyond 60km of Adelaide CBD, a small travel fee applies, and for interstate or international celebrations, I’ll put together a custom quote to make it all happen.

Definitely. I’ll guide you through the paperwork and make sure everything’s in order, as well as lodge all the documents post-ceremony. All you need to do is show up, ready to say ‘I do’.

Yes, absolutely! A rehearsal is a great way to get everyone on the same page and ensure you feel confident going into the big day. It’s also our chance to confirm any final housekeeping, your ceremony location (and backup location) and sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment.

I love this idea. If you’d prefer a friend to officiate, I can still be involved during the planning process or behind the scenes. I’ll make sure all the legal paperwork is sorted, the Monitum and minimum required vows are spoken, and step in if anything goes off track.
